Insurance & Payment
If you have insurance, a copay is the set amount that you have to pay each time you visit a healthcare provider. The amount of your copay is determined by your insurance plan and can usually be found on the front of your insurance card. Your copay is collected during the check-in process before your visit. If your insurance is out-of-network, your copay is generally higher than someone with insurance that’s in vybe’s network.
Every insurance plan is different. During the check-in process, we will verify your urgent care copay with your insurance carrier. You can also call the member services number located on the back of your insurance card to ask about specific policies and copays.
If you have an outstanding balance, it means that you have an out-of-pocket expense that hasn’t paid yet. If you have an outstanding balance from a previous visit, you must pay that amount in addition to the copay for the current visit in order to be seen.
An out-of-pocket expense is the amount that you have to pay because it is not covered by your insurance or because you haven’t met your deductible. Your deductible is a set amount that you may be required to pay toward covered medical care within a single year. For example, if you have a $3,000 annual deductible, you may need to pay that amount out-of-pocket toward covered medical care before the insurance company will begin paying your claims.
If you don’t have insurance, we offer self-pay rates. Self-pay prices are listed at the front desk at all vybe urgent care locations. You can also find the list on our website by visiting vybe.care/self-pay/. All self-pay payments are collected during the check-in process before your visit or immediately after if there were additional services performed.
We don’t know at the time of your visit how insurance will process your claim. As a result, we keep your card on file to process deductibles, copays, or other outstanding balances. Once notified of a balance due, you’ll have 5 days to discuss any questions or make a phone or online payment. After 5 days, we’ll charge the card you have authorized for the amount due.
For self-pay patients (including video visits), there is an out-of-pocket cost of $145. This includes lab draws, in-office lab tests (such as pregnancy, glucose, urinalysis, etc.), and certain minor treatments.
Yes, you can make a payment via our convenient online payment option.
